A brief history
Octane Interactive Limited came into being on the 14th of June 1999. Seeing the potential of the nascent new media industry, Octane Interactive was borne out of a desire to be creative in thought and deed.
What I do
Octane Interactive is a new media design agency. That means I work with you to find innovative, professional, engaging and cost-effective ways of making things like websites, web-based applications and on-line presentations which help sell and market what it is that you do.
Where I am
Octane Interactive is based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, making me quite central to a number of major towns & cities, such as Sheffield, Doncaster, Huddersfield, Rotherham, Wakefield and Leeds.
Octane Interactive provides quality web design & development, SEO & SEM services to the education, healthcare and manufacturing sectors among others, I also partner with design agencies to ensure my clients are able to extend the range of services that they can offer to their customers, should they choose.

My name is Wayne Smallman, and I'm the Managing Director and principle founder of Octane Interactive.
I've been in the design and new media industries since the mid nineties.
My clients see me more as a partner than a supplier, which says everything about the kind of service I provide.
